Application Process

  • Step 1: Agency Representation

    International applicants are typically represented by a placement agency which will arrange homestays with host families. Placement agencies should contact the Admissions Office at Saint John's with any questions regarding applications for international students.
  • Step 2: TOEFL Score

    Request that ETS send the original TOEFL institutional score report to Saint John’s using code 7440.
  • Step 4: Create a Ravenna Account

    Create a Ravenna account at ravenna-hub.com/login. Select Saint John’s High School from the School Directory and choose International Student Application Process.
  • Step 5: Complete the Application for Admission

    Complete the Application for Admission in Ravenna and pay the
    $40 fee online
  • Step 6: Student Statement

    Complete and submit the Student Statement in Ravenna.
  • Step 7: Parent Statement

    Complete and submit the Parent Statement in Ravenna. 
  • Step 8: Transcript Release Form

    Print and sign the Transcript Release Form in Ravenna and submit it to the registrar at your current school.
  • Step 9: Recommendation Form

    Choose at least one teacher, counselor or school administrator to complete a recommendation on your behalf and enter their contact information in Ravenna.
  • Step 10: Interview

    Schedule an interview with a member of the Admissions team via Zoom once all other application steps have been completed.
  • Step 11: Enrollment Contract

    The enrollment contract and applicable international fees will be coordinated through the applicant’s agency. 
  • Step 12: Deposit, Original Bank Statement, and I-20 Application

    Saint John’s must receive the deposit, original bank statement, and I-20 application before issuing a student’s I-20. The I-20 is a document issued to accepted international students that indicates their primary purpose for coming to the United States is to attend school.

Saint John’s High School has educated young men under the sponsorship of the Xaverian Brothers since 1898.
