Applying for
Financial Aid
Our Financial Aid Program is designed to make a Saint John’s education accessible to all students based on a family’s demonstrated financial need and the availability of financial aid funds.
As such, Saint John’s utilizes the Clarity Application to determine a family’s level of financial need based on the information that families share in the application which includes assets, income, expenses, and debts.
GET STARTED
To get started with your financial aid application, please visit the Clarity Website to create your account.
IMPORTANT : When prompted to search for high schools to apply to, fully type out "SAINT JOHN'S", using access code 8934 to begin your application.
The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete, is mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere, and you are able save your progress and return at any time. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. What are the considerations for divorced or separated families? In the case of a divorce or separation, Saint John’s considers the financial resources of both parents before making an award. We require each parent to contribute as much as Clarity Financial Aid calculates that each can afford. Within the Clarity application, every living biological parent and legal guardian will need to submit their information for an application to be considered complete. One biological parent/legal guardian may start the application, complete their information, and will be prompted to list any additional parents or guardians living in the same household, followed by an opportunity to invite parents or guardians from outside the household to create their own account and complete a separate application. If either parent remarries, we take into consideration their obligations to their new family. We also consider the resources of a step-parent, keeping in mind that the primary responsibility to contribute to the cost of education rests with the child's biological parents.

Is there an assistance program for expenses beyond tuition and fees?In addition to traditional financial aid, Saint John's offers robust support to our families and students through out Pioneers Care program. There are programs that are integral to a Saint John’s education but come at an additional cost beyond what tuition covers. For example, Global Encounter trips, retreats, Model UN conferences, the Young Writers Conference, and more all require sacrifices from students and families. All Saint John’s students should be able to experience these transformational programs. The Pioneers Care program is available to ensure that every student can experience all that Saint John's offers. Whether it is a student needing assistance to participate in an immersion trip with the world language program, a sophomore looking for additional resources to afford a textbook or an instrument, or an athlete on the track team who simply can’t afford to purchase a pair of running sneakers, Pioneers Care ensures that all students, no matter their socio-economic background, feel a part of and included in all that Saint John’s has to offer.
